Day 01 Bangkok Damnoen Saduak Kanchanaburi
Early morning pick-up from hotel in Bangkok (within city) and depart for Damnoen Saduak Floating Market where you will see traditional Thai lifestyles going back into history. Continue to Kanchanaburi Province to visit the Allied War Cemetery and JEATH War Museum which is a replication of a prisoner of War Camp containing photographic memorabilia. Board a train to take a ride on the Death Railway along the original wooden viaducts. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Wat Pa Luang Ta Bua (Tiger Temple in the forest) with more than 20 grown tigers and tiger cubs living within the temple grounds. Proceed to the hotel. Accommodation at Pung Waan Resort or similar
Day 2 Kanchanaburi Ayuthaya
After breakfast, visit to the Hellfire Pass Memorial, a part of the Death Railway and was cut through the stone mountain during World War II. Nowadays there are walking trails and also a museum dedicated to all Allied prisoners of war and Asian laborers who suffered and died at Hellfire Pass and elsewhere in the Asia Pacific region during the WW II. Continue to Ayuthaya via Suphan Buri. The scenery near the Burmese border is dominated by fertile farmland and jungle-clad mountains. Lunch at local restaurant en route. Arrival in Ayuthaya and time at leisure for own exploring. Accommodation at Krungsri River Hotel or similar
Day 3 Ayuthaya Bang Pa In Cruise to Bangkok
Breakfast. This morning visit to famous temples in Ayuthaya i.e. Wat Srisanpetch, Wat Yai Chai Mongkol and another of Ayuthayas most beautiful temples at Wat Chai Watthanaram. Proceed to Bang Pa In, the former summer residence of the kings of Ayuthaya built in the 18th century. The Royal Palace amidst beautiful extensive park grounds in an exotic combination of Thai and European architecture. The Thai pavilion built in the middle of a lake will catch the visitors eye as well as the Chinese-style palace Vihat Chamrun. Another attraction is the trimmed bushes in elephant shape. Board on luxury cruise for lunch and a leisure cruise down the fabled Chao Phraya River to Bangkok. Arrival in Bangkok at 17.00 hrs and transfer to hotel in Bangkok.
